After earning a degree in history at the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice, I moved to Paris to continue my studies on the social construction of the economy. At the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) I received the Diplôme d’études approfondies in Sociology and worked with the Center de Sociologie Européenne (CSE) until the passing of Pierre Bourdieu, whose book The Rules of Art (il Saggiatore, Milan 2005) I have translated into Italian. Between the charme of bohemian Paris and Venetian decadence, Venice has finally prevailed and I returned to Italy permanently. Familiarity with computer science and a great interest in the Internet led me to found the project HCE with Paolo Mioni. In HCE, in which I am the Chairman of the Board, I take care of project management and interaction with our clients and partners. I’m certified as Zend PHP Engineer and monkey-tester. I often approximate Bach fugues and Brahms interludes at the piano.
