Emanuele Bottaro
After earning a degree in history at the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice, I moved to Paris to continue my studies on the social construction of the economy. At the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) I received the Diplôme d’études approfondies in Sociology and worked with the Center de Sociologie Européenne (CSE) until the passing of Pierre Bourdieu, whose book The Rules of Art (il Saggiatore, Milan 2005) I have translated into Italian. Between the charme of bohemian Paris and Venetian decadence, Venice has finally prevailed and I returned to Italy permanently. Familiarity with computer science and a great interest in the Internet led me to found the project HCE with Paolo Mioni. In HCE, in which I am the Chairman of the Board, I take care of project management and server-side developing (less and less) and interaction with our clients and partners (increasingly). I’m certified as Zend PHP Engineer and monkey-tester. I often approximate Bach fugues and Brahms interludes at the piano.

After earning an International Baccalaureate at the United World College of the Adriatic, I graduated in Philosophy at the University of Padua with a thesis on Friedrich Nietzsche’s posthumous fragments. After a few corporate experiences as IT staff, translator, interpreter and representative of modernity in general, I founded HCE with Emanuele Bottaro in 2001. I'm in charge of PHP, Python and JavaScript programming, CSS development techniques and Web Marketing. I’m certified as a Zend PHP Engineer. I speak English almost as a native speaker and I would love to be able to practice my German more, time permitting. I did a coast to coast tour of the United States as a guitarist in a psychedelic rock band, sleeping on the most exclusive room floors from NY to Seattle.
Marco Andreatta
I graduated in Computer Engineering at the University of Padua with a thesis on the development of software to assist the rehabilitation of children with neuromotor disabilities, in collaboration with the ULSS 16 of Padua.
During my professional experience I have worked as a consultant in the field of Information Technology for various private companies including Carraro, GEOX, Assicurazioni Generali, dealing with software development, relational databases, network services TCP / IP, systems integration and project management.
Previously I have also studied oboe at the Conservatory of Music in Padova, consistent with the commitments of sports and volunteering.
Currently 99.9% of my spare time is happily dedicated to my children and my wife. In the remaining time I rest.

I graduated in Business Economics at the University of Ca ‘Foscari of Venice, with a thesis on software agents and Database Federation, and I have a Masters in Business Process Reengineering at the Politecnico di Milano. I worked for several companies, IT and non-IT, including Pirelli Informatica and Westfalen Bank. I have been the teacher of the New Media Lab Master’s in Journalism and Master of Science in Communication at the University of Padua for the past 15 years. In HCE I work on PHP, MySQL, Javascript and Flash. I am certified as a SAP Analyst, ABAP Programmer Zend PHP Engineer. I play piano and accordion, usually not at the same time.
Andrea Casaccia
Graduated in Computer Engineering at the University of Ferrara in 2007 with a thesis on the optimization of a dial-a-ride program, in 2008 I obtained the certification Zend PHP Engineer. Within HCE I deal mostly with programming in PHP, MySQL and Javascript. If you managed to see me apart from a computer, most likely I will be sweating on bicycle on a trail, or on a soccer field, or I’m enthusiastically applying myself to any of the other pastimes that I cultivate with little consistency.

In 2007 I obtained a Degree in Web Technologies and Multimedia at the University of Udine. In 2008 I obtained certification as Zend PHP Engineer. I deal mainly in HCE Programming PHP, Javascript and CSS. I use Facebook. My (little) free time is devoted to passions of very short duration, from skateboarding to juggling. In the future I would like to practice skydiving. I’d like to go into space. I once saw a double rainbow.
Claudio Calia
Starting as a freelance web designer, with time I specialized in web copywriting and web marketing, working for several reputable companies in the industry and finally for HCE. As a parallel activity I nurture my passion for comic books, working for various publishers both as editor and author. If people tell me that my head is in the clouds, I take it as a compliment.
Marco Bottaro
I attended the degree course in Physical Planning and Environmental Planning at the University IUAV of Venice, in 1999 I began working at various research activities of the Department of Planning and working with businesses as expert of techniques and computer models for the analysis of the territory (GIS – geographic information systems, multi-criteria analysis, etc..). In particular I have worked on European projects and Conspace ALPTER and the POLY.DEV. with the Chamber of the National Institute of Urban Planning Veneto (INU) who have become a member and, since April 2006, member of the Board. Meanwhile with HCE I collaborate with the implementation of websites in PHP – SPIP.
As a child I dreamed of playing in the A series and, deep down inside, I still hope in a national team call. I regularly attend soccer camps in the city (and various orthopedic wards).
