Description
This project, started by Tele Radio City s.c. - Onlus and sponsored by several italian Administrations (like the City of Venice or the Region Emilia-Romagna), aims at providing immigrants and institutions with legal advice and a commented selection of the legislation concerning immigrants. Information is published in more than 6 languages, including Arabic. One of the most visited italian web sites on immigration, its design is meant to allow the end user to find the contents that interest him/her as easily as possible.
Project achievements
In April 2003, only two months after its creation, it was already one of the most visited sites in its sector.
Since then it has become a national reference point for immigration legislation, competing on the search engines with Public Administration sites as well as the major daily newspapers' sites.
The site has won the first place in the eInclusion category of the E-Content Award 2007 , an award organized by the Fondazione Politecnico di Milano and the European Commission MEDICI Framework, sponsored (among others) by the Italian Presidenza della Repubblica and the Presidenza del Consiglio. The award aims at selecting the best e-products in Italy.
