Description
Sherwood, one of the most important entities of the alternative media envirnoment in Italy has chosen HCE to develop its new site, which marks its epochal transition from traditional radio broadcasting to web-only media.
The new site features high performances, a clear but communicative graphic design, a high degree of usability of the contents.
The content management system created for the site's staff allows for the easy insertion of complex resources like image galleries, video and audio, which is integrated with a complete media streaming infrastructure.
The site has a full e-commerce system that allows one to buy Sherwood Festival tickets online. Tickets come with a QR Code for easy parsing at the Festival gates.
The webiste has been created using HCE's very own Finnegan Framework, which guarantees high performances and ease of use, and is ideal for projects of this degree of complexity.
Project achievements
The e-commerce ticket system has sold over 13.000 tickets in its first two months of operation, allowing significant saves to the Festival organization. The QR Code receipt system has allowed for easy check-in at the Festival gates.
